The morning after
Muscles moving with soreness and shivers
Dripping where once was dry
The cage door swings open
Feral beast unleashed
She bolts and does not look back
Stops to catch her heaving breath
Sweating along creased brow
Narrow vision of passion
It is all a blur
Mind blending memories with desires
How do we separate the two
After they have intertwined?
If I could,I would put a double Like, especially for that second and third photo!
More back to you, Pia, over e-mail…
Are those Aspens? I have never seen one. You live in such open space, such huge space. Beautiful.
Yes, Aspen… and with the pine and spruce and fir dying off in great numbers, they may take over the hillsides one day. Like the phoenix rising!
Every photo you take is beautiful. How I’d love to be where you are.Thank you for making it possible for me to see the stunning scenery of where you are through your eyes.
The picture only has meaning if seen… Thanks for allowing me to share.
“Mind blending memories with desires” – perfect, succinct, wonderful writing. What a nice way for me to start a Monday morning!
Thank you kindly. And may it be a wonderful Monday afterall!
Gin – loved the pix of the aspen.

Oh, these are so beautiful. I tried the other day to take fall color pic with my little digital camera. Sooooo lame.
Sandy, I just got the new camera in July and it has made a huge difference. So much fun to see the difference – taking the same picture, at least with subject matter, and getting so much better results. I know it’s a big investment, but when you can do it, it is well worth it!
